Welkom op de website van de KIVI NIRIA Afdeling voor
Geotechniek.
De Afdeling voor Geotechniek is founding partner van GEONET, hèt
platform voor Geotechniek.
De Afdeling voor Geotechniek houdt zich o.a. bezig met:
- gronddeformaties
- stabiliteit van grondlichamen
- interactie grond en constructies
- isolerende schermen in de grond
- verontreiniging in grondwater
- numerieke grondmechanica
- toepassingen van monitoring- en
meetsystemen.

Eurocode 7
Op initiatief van KIVI NIRIA
afdeling Geotechniek is een achtergronddocument opgesteld met
voorbeeldberekeningen voor geotechnisch ontwerp volgens Eurocode 7.
De pdf-file is te downloaden via de hieronder vermelde link (alleen

28 t/m 30 mei International Conference on Performance-Based
Design in Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering
The Technical Committee of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering
and Associated Problems (TC203) of the International Society for
Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and the
Italian Geotechnical Association (AGI) are delighted to welcome all
distinguished members of our societies in the Second International
Conference on 'Performance-Based Design in Earthquake Geotechnical
Engineering', which will be held in Italy in the marvellous city of
Taormina in Sicily. Please find enclosed the programme and pictures of the venue of the
conference.
4 - 6 July 2012 Shaking
the Foundations of Geo-Engineering
Education
TC306, the technical committee of
the ISSMGE responsible for Geo-Engineering Education, is organising
a landmark conference entitled Shaking the Foundations of
Geo-Engineering Education (SFGE 2012) to be held in Galway,
Ireland, from 4-6 July 2012. The conference is planned to have a
significant impact on and provide a reference point for effective
and engaging education in geo-engineering worldwide.
The deadline for full
papers is January 15 2012.
